QUINCE/ SWEET 16 PHOTO AND VIDEO COVERAGE

 

·      OBJECTIVE

·      “To capture and film coverage of the event requested by client.”

·      PHOTO

·      Photos will be taken in high shutter speed to capture action with the least amount of motion blur as the photographer’s camera can capture (1/60th to 1/2000th).

·      Photos will be taken in landscape and/or portrait in the minimum of 20 megapixel in RAW.

·      Photographer will engage with the client’s family and friends to encourage more content for the photo gallery.

·      Photos will be taken in RAW, and client will receive photos in .JPEG.

·      Photos will prioritize on the main subject “Quinceañera/ Birthday girl”, their immediate family and close friends.

·      Photos will also capture rest of the family and friends but will not be prioritized. They will be included and will be well balanced throughout the gallery.

·      Photo of the venue and decorations will be taken.

·      Hourly coverage package is all digital by default. No prints are included but the digital gallery will include a feature to either download or order prints to be mailed.

·      Large, framed printed photo is an add-on separate from coverage package.

·      Event day photo coverage will include Standard Editing. 

o   PHOTO EDITING STYLES DEFINITIONS:

§  Standard Editing: Photos will include standard editing such as brightness, shadow, highlight, saturation, tint, light healing, color correction, and temperature adjustment to have a presentable appearance. Applies to event bookings such as Weddings, Quinces, Sweet 16s, corporate events and other events.

§  Premium Editing: Photo will include premium editing which is everything included in Standard Editing with the addition of intensive healing, cloning, specific area enhancements, bracketing, “photoshopping”, adding/removing subjects, background filling, teeth whitening, any photo requiring intensive editing. Applies to photoshoot bookings such as indoor/outdoor portrait photography, family photos, any photo session with a backdrop, real estate photography, headshots, and other intensive editing photoshoots.

·      VIDEO

·      Video will be received in the minimum quality of 1080p (1920 x 1080) at 60 frames per second. 

·      A custom intro will be made for the event in the video.

·      Video will prioritize on the main subject “Quinceañera/ Birthday girl”, their immediate family and close friends.

·      Video will also capture rest of the family and friends but will not be prioritized. They will be included and will be well balanced throughout the final video.

·      An average of 15 – 30 minutes of video will be covered per event hour depending on how much is going on.

·      Video will include standard editing such as brightness, shadow, highlight, tint, saturation, and temperature adjustment.

·      Event day video coverage will include Standard Editing. 

o   VIDEO EDITING STYLES DEFINITIONS:

§  Standard Editing: Videos will include standard editing such as brightness, shadow, highlight, saturation, tint, light healing, color correction, and temperature adjustment to have a presentable appearance. Any access video clips will be cut off. Video will include smooth transitions. Applies to event bookings such as Weddings, Quinces, Sweet 16s, corporate events and other events.

§  Premium Editing: Video will include premium editing which is everything included in Standard Editing with the addition of intensive editing, rapid cut-ins, special effects, vocal sync, sound effects, masking, multiple color corrections, ect. Applies to commercials, music videos, special announcement videos, 

·      Cross fading will be used mainly though most transitions but not in every transition.

·      Videographer will engage with the client’s family and friends to encourage more content for the video.

·      VIDEO WILL BE UPLOADED ON YOUTUBE IN PUBLIC BY DEFAULT. Client must reach out to videographer if they wish to have it private.

·      This package does not cover any media subscription.

·      A download link will be provided by request for a .MP4 File.

·      AUDIO

·      The audio of the event will be recorded using the camera’s built-in microphone and an external microphone. 

·      Clip-on microphone is currently unavailable.

·      Audio from the DJ will be recorded in the video.

·      Audio will be Mixed and Mastered to balance the volume throughout the video and reduce clipping.

·      Depending on the songs played by the DJ, there is a possibility Youtube may make some songs unavailable in certain countries due to copyright laws.

·      Due to copyright reasons, the Youtube version of the video might have to be trimmed if a song played by the DJ is flagged. The original digital version will not be trimmed.

·      If for any reason Youtube demands for the video to be taken down, client will be reached out by the videographer where a link will be sent to them for download.

·      Music will be added if certain parts of the video appear quiet.

·      PAYMENT

·      By leaving a non-refundable security deposit, the client agrees to all of the terms and conditions.

·      The minimum deposit is calculated by $50 per event hour plus any travel cost that may apply.

·      The job must be paid by the end of the day of the event. 

·      Client can always pay in advance. 

·      Client can use PayPal’s “Pay Later” if they agree to their terms and conditions and are approved.

·      BOOKING INFO

·      Photographer will arrive the minimum of 10 minutes before the booking time to set up.

·      No job is official until the minimum deposit is paid.

·      Client must pay the minimum deposit in order to reserve the time and date of services.

·      The nonrefundable security deposit will go towards the total.

·      Once nonrefundable deposit is made, a confirmation of the calendar date will be sent to client.

·      The nonrefundable deposit is measured by $50 per event hour + half of any travel fee that may apply + $50 for any 1 hour separate booking.

o   For example: $1349 6 hour coverage + $100 travel fee + $160 1 hour pre-shoot

§  (6hrs x $50) + ($50) + ($50)

§  Total Nonrefundable Security Deposit = $400

·      CANCELATIONS/RESCHEDUALING

·      The security deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE for ANY reason.

·      Please reach out to photographer at (559) 512-0042 as soon as possible for any accommodations or changes. 

·      If the booking date needs to be rescheduled for any reason, the security deposit will be kept, and a new invoice will be made for the new date. Any additional payments made, aside of the deposit, will be transferred as credit that can be used for another booking. 

·      In the rare occasion that the photographer/videographer is unable to attend game due to an emergency, a substitute photographer/videographer will be provided with the approval of both the photographer and the client. If no approved substitute photographer is found, the job for the day will be cancelled, security deposit will be refunded, and the balance will not be charged to the client. 

·      Photographer will work with client if possible.

·      LOCATIONS AND PERMITS

·      Photographer will arrive the minimum of 10 minutes before the booking time to set up.

·      Some churches require photographer to fill out a form in advance to take any photos or video. Photographer will reach out and complete form before the day of the booking.

·      Some locations require a permit to shoot photos/videos. If any permit fees are required to shoot, fee will be added on to the invoice.

o   For example: Shinzen Friendship Garden in Fresno’s Woodward Park has a $60 1-hour permit fee for any professional photography and must be booked in advance.

·      ADDITIONAL HOURS

o   Please allow up to 2 hours of extra coverage time incase event does not go as scheduled; this happens in MANY events. Photographer will notify client once the time is up to see if client would like to add additional hours. Additional hours can be added on the day of the event. Photo and Video editing will begin once the FULL balance has been paid.

·      TRAVEL

·      Bookings within Fresno County.

o   Starting coverage package includes travel time and gas to up to two locations within Fresno/ Clovis in California. 

o   Any additional travel may result to an additional travel charge depending on distance.

·      Bookings outside Fresno County.

o   Any bookings outside of the Central Valley will require a stay for the amount of days booked and will be added on to the travel fee.

o   The most economical 3.8-star hotel will be chosen within close distance to the booking location.

o   A gas allowance will be added on to the invoice and will be a set price for out-of-town bookings.

o   For any air travel, the most economical round-trip tickets will be selected by airline company reliance, maximum of 1 stop one way, arrival time and departure to successfully arrive to the booking a day prior. 

o   Airline ticket will be added on to travel fee.

·      CAMERA TEAM AND EQUIPMENT

·      THIS IS A ONE PERSON TEAM. A minimum of one mirrorless camera will be operated by a team of one person, one camera for both photo and film. An assistant/intern will occasionally be present.

·      The photographer will bring enough batteries and memory cards to cover the entire hours of the job.

·      Photographer will use any lens that best fit the job.

·      Portable lighting and external flash will be present if needed.

·      ALTERCATIONS/FIGHTS/DISRUPTIONS AT THE DAY OF EVENT

·      Unfortunately, situations happen such as fights, altercations and disruptions at these events that are beyond anyone's control. Sometimes teens who have no connect with the quinceañera can start fights. Sometimes family members can start a scene after having too many drinks at a wedding.  

·      In the case these situations were to occur, be aware:

o   The photo/videographer has no control in the situations that occur.

o   The photo/videographer WILL NOT capture nor record any fights.

o   The photo/videographer will do everything to ensure the safety of them and any assistant/intern.

o   The photo/videographer will continue to perform the job once it is safe to do so.

o   Any disturbance, fight or altercation CAN affect the outcome of the final photos, videos, ect, in which we are not responsible.

o   The job will continue to be paid in full as intended.

o   No discount, nor refund will be issued.

·      ARTISTRY/STYLE

·      Photographer will have full control on the style of photo and/or video to best fit the objective. 

·      Photographer is open to getting ideas, suggestions and recommendations by client.

·      RETAKES

·      There are no retakes for this job.

·      REVISIONS

·      A revision is any changes made after the final product has been sent to the client.

·      Client is entitled to 3 revisions after receiving the final product. Each revision will allow up to 10 edit actions on Adobe Photoshop and/or Lightroom and/or Premier Pro.

·      Any additional revisions will be an additional $25 for up to 10 edit actions on Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom & Premier Pro.

·      Client and photographer can meet up if many revisions are needed.

·      FINAL PRODUCT

·      Photo

o   Client will receive 50-100 standard edited photos per event hour.

o   Client will receive photos through a link by email in a digital gallery through the 3rd party service “Pixieset”.

o   Client will be able to download photos through digital gallery.

o   Client will be able to purchase merchandise through the digital gallery.

o   This is an ALL-DIGITAL package by default, no prints. Prints are considered an Add-on.

o   Photos will be received up to 1-2 week(s) from day of the event.

·      Video

o   Client will receive a video covering 15 minutes to 30 minutes per event hour.

o   Client will receive a YouTube video upload of their video in their digital photo gallery by default.

o   Client will be able to download the MP4 file by request.

o   Video will be received up to 2 months from the day of the event on non-peak season. Peak season from May to October may require an additional month to edit.

·      Highlight Video (for Photo and Video packages 6 hours and more only)

o   A highlight video will be create with music showing the custom animated intro of the event following key moments of the event that were recorded.

o   The highlight video will approximately be 3 - 7 minutes long depending on hours booked and scenarios filmed.

o   The highlight video will be received with the coverage video.

·      Deliverables

o   Clients will receive all photos and video in a digital form.

o   Clients will also receive a decorative USB Deliverable for any booking reserved after November 15th, 2023. USB will include all Photos and Videos related to the booking.
